Girls Basketball:

Lake City (19-3) is the #4 South seed and faces #1 South seed New London-Spicer (21-0) in the Class AA quarterfinals of the Girls State Basketball Tournament Tuesday night.

The pre-game show is at 6:10pm with the tip-off at 6;30pm on KLCH Lake Hits 95 and on-line at www.lakehits95.com with Craig Kennedy calling the action from Chanhassen High School.

Lake City is making their first state tournament appearance since 1984.  New London-Spicer is making it’s 19th trip to state, winning state titles in 1997 and 2002.  The Wildcats also have six state runner up finishes.

The winner moves on to the Class AA semi-finals on Tuesday, April 6th at 5pm at the Target Center vs. the Duluth Marshall-Providence Academy winner.  The Class AA championship game is Friday, April 9th at 3pm at the Target Center.
