Bruce's Blog

Welcome to my blog.  I’m Bruce Carlstrom, the morning guy on Lake Hits 95 FM radio in Lake City.  Born and raised in Red Wing, I had my first radio career from 1978 to 1980 on KCUE AM and FM in Red Wing before leaving radio for a 40-year banking career. My wife and I have lived in Lake City since 1985 and we love the beauty of the Hiawatha Valley, where I spend my free time tearing up sod on the local golf links. In February 2020, I retired from banking to work in radio sales for Q-Media Group and, beginning on April Fool’s Day, I became the morning host of Bruce A.M.  Join me weekdays from 6 to 10 A.M.!
